Days Of Our Lives Spoiler: Dan Feuerrigel Teases The Potential For A Gabi-EJ Love Story

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers note that while fans are used to expecting the unexpected in the land of Salem, viewers can still be caught off guard by certain characters and their shenanigans.

Gabi Hernandez-DiMera (Cherie Jimenez) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) recently shocked fans when the enemies hopped into bed together. Still, is this a one-night stand between the two or the first step to a sizzling romance?

DOOL Spoilers: Dan Feuerrigel – “I Didn’t See That Coming”

Dan Feuerrigel recently had a chat with Soap Opera Digest (SOD), and the center of the conversation was about EJ’s hate sex with Gabi.

When asked about the two characters hooking up, Feuerriegel admitted he didn’t see it coming. He adds that he began to suspect something when they had scenes that called for yelling; however, overall, their one-nighter came out of the blue.

In fact, Feuerriegel was asked about the “twist” of these enemies landing in bed, and he revealed he liked the storyline turn. He adds that it was just as entertaining for him as it was for the audience.

Days Spoilers: Will Hate Sex Turn To Love?

SOD asked the burning question on everyone’s mind: could this one-nighter lead to more? Obviously, the intent of the encounter was to get back at Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash), while releasing some pent-up frustration (on EJ’s part), but could Gabi turn to her husband’s brother for love?

Feuerriegel notes that at first, EJ won’t believe his one-night with Gabi will lead to more. He initially only agreed to it to “piss Stefan off”. Still, Dan relays that, “Then a few other things start to occur, which do give off the impression that it is going in a particular direction …”

EJ falling for Gabi wasn’t exactly on anyone’s bingo bucket list for 2024, but here we are!
