‘RHOP’ Alum Candiace Dillard Bassett Reveals Baby Gender

Candiace Dillard Bassett joined Real Housewives of Potomac on Bravo in Season 3 back in 2018. Now, she and her husband, Chris Bassett, are expecting their first baby together. This week, she revealed the gender. Read on to find out whether they will welcome a little boy or a girl. 

Candiace Dillard Bassett Married In Season 4

RHOP fans saw Candiace marry Chris Basset in Season 4 of the Bravo show. Although she featured through Season 8 of the show, late last year the TV star decided to retire from from the show. Perhaps that’s because she and Chris decided to start a family. Whatever the reason, Real Housewives of Potomac fans like it when people decide to keep their kids off the television. More so, since Garrison Brown took his own life earlier this year. 

Candiace Dillard Bassett spoke with US Weekly about how her pregnancy is going. Like almost everyone, she does suffer from cravings. Watermelon featured high on her list of favorites. And, she enjoyed tucking into “Olive Garden spaghetti with meat sauce.” She also talked about her journey with “IVF,” and said that her baby will arrive in the fall.

In a joint post on Instagram this week. the outlet and Candiace revealed that the RHOP couple expects a baby boy. In the photo, Chris Basset held up the sonogram and he reached out to kiss his wife. Bravo fans liked the news and they took to the comments section to send in their congrats.

Only a few snarkers arrived to say nasty things about the RHOP alum. That’s because, on the show, she tended to have a bad temper and lose it easily.  Perhaps having a baby will take some of that steam out of her.
