Young and the Restless Spoilers: Lily Replaces Billy With Chance, Flipping The Switch On Victor’s Plan

Young and the Restless: Lily Winters (Christel Khalil)

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers note that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) recently confided in Devon Hamilton-Winters (James Bryton) that she was still “playing” Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

Sure, she’s agreed to work with him as Abbott-Chancellor, but she’s manipulating him enough to ensure that the company doesn’t crumble. It’s clear Lily wants Billy out.

In the same stroke, fans know that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is working toward a hostile takeover of Chancellor. He recently told Devon his plans in hopes that he would tell his sister and she would run to Billy.

The Moustache’s goal was that Billy-boy would hear this scheme and do something rash, which would leave Abbott-Chancellor vulnerable.

But seeing as Victor’s “secret” will stay safe with Lily, will Ms. Winters end up screwing up The Moustache’s plan by moving forward with a scheme of her own?

Y&R Spoilers: Even The Best Laid-Out Plans Go Wrong

Y&R spoilers reveal that Victor wants Billy to “blow” things out of the water at Abbott-Chancellor so he can swing in for the “save”. Still, what if Lily takes action before any of this happens?

The Young And The Restless: Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson)

Lily is working hard to ensure to “protect” the company. She’s biding her time before she can strike; she knows Billy’s a wildcard but looking for a good reason to present to Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) to be able to prove this to oust him.

The de-merger has left a bad taste in Jill’s mouth, which was something Billy pushed hard for. All it would take is another over-the-top business proposal, and Lily may go to Jill in hopes that she has enough information to fire him.

Y&R Spoilers: The Chance Chancellor Factor

Jill wouldn’t just fire Billy and give Lily the reigns. After all, Billy was brought into Chancellor-Winters to offer some representation on her behalf. With that being said, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) was also brought in for that very reason, so could Lily swipe Billy out for Chance?

Chance has worked hard to make the transition from cop to corporate executive. In the real world, mere months would not be enough to become CEO, but this is the land of Genoa City where anything is possible!

During the Thursday, August 1 show, Chance and Billy sparred a bit, and Chancellor made it clear how dedicated he was to the company and how he wanted to be relied on more.

There’s no way Jill would fire Billy … unless Lily presents the idea that her grandson takes his place … which would essentially blow Victor’s current plan out of the water!

Could Lily propose Chance take Billy’s CEO spot? Would Jill agree to this? What would Victor’s reaction be? Share your thoughts in the comment section!
