Wyatt’s last appearance had him talking with his father, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) in the episode of January 17, 2024-he went to the beach house and said he needed a change.
“Perhaps it’s time to move on, maybe even to L.A.,” he suggested, seeking his father’s support- Bill, however, wasn’t thrilled; he prefers having his sons nearby. Yet, he understood if this is what Wyatt truly needs.
Wyatt reflects on the wonderful memories he has there, stating, “It’s been the perfect place to call home.” He says he found a reliable renter, one he believes Bill will approve of, which brings relief to Bill.

Wyatt then inquired about the new woman in Bill’s life-Bill ponders, “The enchanting and enigmatic Poppy” confessing he’s trying to bring her into his world. Wyatt chuckles, recalling that Bill met her years ago at a music festival, teasing that he can’t imagine Bill Spencer roughing it in a tent for three days.
Bill retorts, “Do you want to hear about Poppy or not?, proceeding to reminisce about Poppy, describing her as a stunning and free-spirited woman. Their chemistry was undeniable and electric, and they shared an unforgettable night, saying, “We created beautiful music together; you could say we made magic.” And then Wyatt left.

Art imitated life in that scene, because in reality, Darin Brooks left the show, also citing he needed a change! He posted a goodbye to his fans on Instagram, although it was never cleared up whether contract negotiations fell through or if the character was being rested on the part of the show. However, Darin’s not just been sitting around moping-his IMDB listing shows two upcoming projects.
One, a movie called “Runaway” where Darin plays Gerald Allen, and the other called “Rockland Heights”. Both movies are in pre-production.
