The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) amoral demands were partially met. Michael Baldwin’s (Christian Le Blanc) uncovering information about Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) heart problems gives Victor leverage.
He wants Michael to press further, exploiting his marriage. Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey Bregman) is Jill’s paternal sister. So, Victor wants Michael to use that family connection.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is the target. Victor intends to wreck whatever Billy’s plans are at Abbott Chancellor, and Michael may be able to fuel that underhanded effort.

Victor’s plan is devious, but his assessment of Billy’s business acumen is not. He has yet to learn from Jill or inherit his father, John Abbott’s (Jerry Douglas) dexterity in running a business.
Billy’s problem is what Lily said it was. He does not recognize his flaws. Instead, Billy believes that he has everything figured out. Why else let Lily go when he needs her to keep him balanced, as his mother wanted?
Victor believes Billy will collapse quickly and will use the information Michael has and will obtain to facilitate that outcome. Billy cannot see that Victor has it all over him and is a mortal threat to AC, and that mistake is primed to cost him dearly and in multiple ways.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Jill Abbott Is Off-Screen
Jill does occasionally appear on the show, and Walton is often seen on the Abbott Chancellor’s digital screen in the main office.
When she installed Billy and Lily, she intended for that team to support each other as part of the then-Chancellor-Winters company. The end of that merger meant that Billy and Lily would restore Chancellor to its standalone glory.
But Lily’s acquiescence to the name-change has not resulted in him trusting her. He wants her gone, which might not be what Jill would approve of.
So, Victor will seek to use the tension between Billy and Lily and Jill’s dissatisfaction with her son.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Does Not Care
Victor’s main target is Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). He despises Jack and what he thinks Bergman’s character did to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
By attacking AC, Victor wants to force Billy out of what once was Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) company. He anticipates Jack will probably rehire his brother, which Victor believes will help destabilize Jabot.
The Glissade effort is proceeding, intending to overtake the Abbott family business. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is expected back in Genoa City, Wisconsin, in the fall.
She will be needed to help Jack and possibly Billy defend the cosmetics company their father founded against the Moustache.
