The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is in for a rude awakening. She pressed Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) for the truth about what happened in Baltimore, but he looked her in the eyes and lied he never slept with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).

Sally chose to set aside her instincts and doubts, allowing herself to feel optimistic about her future with Adam once more. However, this newfound confidence is likely to waver when Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) reveals the extent of Adam’s deceit during the week of August 26-30. Had Adam been honest from the beginning, there’s a possibility that Sally could have found it in her heart to forgive him.

Given the emotional turmoil Adam and Chelsea experienced over Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) during their affair, Sally might have been more understanding.

At the very least, Adam should have been truthful when Sally directly inquired about his relationship with Chelsea.

With Adam’s effortless lies and his seemingly genuine charm, how can Sally ever believe anything he says again? This is definitely a topic she’ll confront him about once Billy spills the beans about her relationship with a complete deceiver.

Adam appears quite untrustworthy, and we wouldn’t fault Sally if she chose to pack her bags and move on! It looks like she might start by snatching up some of her things and heading straight for the door, possibly seeking the truth from Adam in his own words.

After Billy provides his updates, Sally will be completely aware of what Adam and Chelsea were up to in that hotel room.

As Sally considers leaving, Adam will confess, saying he was too afraid to tell the truth-he’ll try anything  to block her from leaving and explain his actions, but it’s too late.

Adam should have been honest earlier, but he chose to keep things hidden, and so he’s out of second chances, having lied too many times. Sally won’t stand for Adam’s poor behavior any longer and will decide to leave to protect her self-respect, regardless of their past love.

She intends to come back for her things later, and she will not change her mind this time. Following this breakup, Adam is likely to feel very low, and it will greatly affect him.
