Steffy did not expect a call from her mother while handling FC during Brooke’s Bedroom relaunch. She was moved by Taylor’s message and is regaining a needed ally.

Hope learned a lesson during the repeated battles for Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). She can not expect to fight clean and win.

Brooke and Steffy are up at this point in the plot. Hope feels down and Taylor was out but is returning to seek redemption.

Finn is not in love with Hope. However, devoted daytime fans know that one mistake can change everything.

Steffy will be inclined to believe that Finn not telling her about Hope coming on to him was a mistake. Brooke and Steffy will be on the same side in opposing Hope’s reckless pursuit of Finn, with that effort not correctly written in the past tense.

The last strike in the battle Hope intends to win has yet to be taken. Steffy is an experienced fighter and has no problem defending those she cares for.
