Chrisley Knows Best alum, Savannah Chrisley had it all, and then she didn’t as her parents went to prison for tax and fraud-related convictions. She is in a dark place at the moment, but she also knows that other people face adversity. So, she shared a nice message of hope for people to think about during difficult times.
After her parents went to prison for a combined 19 years, their kids took it very hard. Nanny Faye, Todd’s beloved mother turned to Chase for her comfort. Meanwhile, Savannah took over custody of Grayson and young Chloe Chrisley. Soon, their big sister was working with lawyers to try and secure her mom and dad’s early release.
Savannah Chrisley pinned a lot of hope on the oral arguments appeal which was granted. At the moment though, she feels uncertain because her mom needs resentencing. And, she hopes her mom comes home soon. Meanwhile, nothing changed for Todd. Still, each day, she goes to fight the prison conditions and the justice department. Some days seem sadder than others, but she’s bearing up and also thinks of her Chrisley Knows Best fans who might be sad as well.
On Tuesday, the daughter of Todd took to her Instagram and shared two photos. One of them showed her in a bright blue dress. The other one showed her in the same dress, but it was in black and white. Actually, it was almost as if she was using the contrast to reveal the thin veil between life and death and good and bad.
In her caption, Savannah Chrisley wrote a long but caring message about hope and being okay. She said:
REMINDER: It’s perfectly okay to not be okay…Life is inherently messy, and no one truly has it all figured out! And those who claim otherwise are likely hiding their own struggles. Whether you’re grappling with heartbreak or feeling overwhelmed…remember that these moments are temporary. Just as every storm eventually runs out of rain, your current challenges will also pass.
The reality TV star went on to talk about how it is important to “be kind to yourself” when bad times come around. Giving good advice, she mentioned reaching out to those “who care.” Additionally, Savannah said, “Focus on small, manageable steps to navigate your difficulties…Embrace the process of healing, knowing that brighter days are ahead!”
In the comments section, there were more than just a handful of people who said they needed to hear the message about loss, dark days, and hope. Here are some of their reactions:
