General Hospital Spoilers: Ric And Elizabeth Reunion? See What Rick Hearst Has To Say!

General Hospital spoilers tease that Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) recently spoke with Soap Opera Digest about what fans can expect from Ric’s return While Ric did return to console his daughter Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) after the death of her unborn baby, Ric may have other motivations as well.

Ric shocked Heather Webber (Alley Mills) when he announced that he would be taking over her case from Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner). Scott has apparently left town to win over a potential new client, so he entrusted Heather’s case to Ric.

General Hospital Spoilers – Ric Lansing encountered Elizabeth Webber and Carly Spencer

Right before Ric showed up at the hospital, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) reminisced about their past animosity.

That’s when Carly pointed Ric out as one of the causes of their issues. After all, Ric once kidnapped Carly and planned to steal her baby for Elizabeth to raise. Of course, the plan failed and Elizabeth and broke up. Ric has tried and failed several times since to convince Eliabeth to reunite. He’s been gone now for several years.

It was obvious from the brief discussion that Ric would like to catch up with Elizabeth, and possibly see if there is any chance for a renewed romance. But Carly shut him down and Ric left to go see Heather.

Ric is going to make a lot of enemies by supporting Heather’s appeal. But Elizabeth is more sympathetic to Heather than most because of her own relationship with Heather’s son, the late Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). Therefore, it’s possible Elizabeth may be one of the few people in town who thinks Heather’s case should be appealed.

Now that she has broken up with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), Elizabeth may soon find herself surrounded by several former flames. Besides Ric, there’s also Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) with whom Elizabeth has always had a special connection with.

But perhaps the biggest competition for Elizabeth’s heart is arguably the love of her life, Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) who will hopefully soon be in Port Charles.
