Days Of Our Lives Spoiler: Elia Cantu’s “Goodbye” Social Media Post Reminds Fans Of A Storyline Opportunity Lost

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers note that character die in the land of Salem all the time; however, do they pass away without any closure whatsoever?

Bobby Stein/Everett Lynch (Blake Berris) recently died at the hands of Connie Villinski (Julie Dove). Connie was desperate to keep her role in Li Shin’s (Remington Hoffman) murder quiet, and since “Bobby” knew about it, he needed to be eliminated.

Still, fans can’t help but wonder why Bobby/Everett’s intriguing dissociative identity disorder (DID) was sacrificed for some shock value.

DOOL Spoilers: What Happened During Everett Lynch’s Childhood?

Days spoilers remind fans that Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) was on the cusp of finding out what childhood trauma occurred in Everett’s life to cause his DID. Unfortunately, that storyline was wiped out with his death, before it could come full circle. To boot, fans never did (and likely never will) watch him heal over said issues or make amends with Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu).

Speaking of, Elia Cantu recently posted a photo on Instagram of her and Blake, as a farewell of sorts to his DOOL exit. In the caption, she wrote:

“Jada and Bobby may’ve had a toxic relationship on screen but Blake Berris and I get along just fine,” she wrote on Instagram, while sharing a mix of behind-the-scenes videos and photos and shots from the show.

“In fact, I’m gonna miss working with him on Days of Our Lives. Blake, you’re an incredible actor; fearless, present, and always respectful. Your passion for the craft is infectious and I enjoyed being the Jada to your Bobby!”

The post was a reminder to DOOL viewers that a major opportunity was lost.

Days Spoilers: Fans Love Blake Berris

DOOL fans loved Blake’s return to Salem in October 2023. Sadly, his current run didn’t last as long as viewers would have liked or expected. The idea that fans wanted closure around Bobby/Everett’s story was triggered by Cantu’s Instagram post.

IG user, Nancy Greenberg commented that she would have loved to see the Bobby/Everett storyline play out more. She adds, “What happened in his past with his Mom and Dad? Or was that him being manipulative?”

IG user, jskee220 also commented that Bobby/Everett’s death has left a massive cliffhanger in his storyline. Still, the user questioned if another twin could be coming.

Blake Berris fans can only hope! While the twin thing has been overdone in soaps overall, many fans would take that pill and swallow it easily if it meant Berris would return to the daytime drama for yet another run!
