All the New and Familiar Faces In Moana 2 Trailer, See It HERE!

Hey everyone, Moana of Motunui is back. She’s as brave as ever and she’s got a brand new adventure to match.

For all those who weren’t happy that the pig was replaced as a sidekick with the chicken in the first movie, don’t worry, the pig gets to shine in this one. That is, if Maui doesn’t eat him first. Yeah, you heard me right, the demigod of the wind and sea is returning, and he hasn’t lost any of his former craftiness and funny one-liner’s.

Disney Teases Bigger Adventure For Moana In the Franchise’s Second Installment

Moana has been many people’s favorite Disney Princess since she hit our screens in 2016, and now that she’s returning, the buzz is so alive it’s almost palpable.

Per the synopsis, Moana embarks “on an expansive journey in search of people beyond the shores of Motunui.” It continues by teasing that she is “joined by Maui and a brand-new crew of unlikely seafarers, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced.”

The trailer unveiled with the brand new song “We’re Back.”

Okay, so here’s all the high notes that we were teased with on the trailer.

I feel the need to say this first: Moana has got a very cute baby sister, who will be voiced by Khaleesi Lambert-Tsuda. Even though she’s only shown at the beginning of the trailer as the people of Motunui wave goodbye to Moana, press pics hint she may have a bigger role to play than the trailer suggests.

Of course it wouldn’t be ‘Moana’ if Maui isn’t coming on for the ride, and this time around, he’s happy to find the pig is joining on the trip. Why you ask? Because he’s hungry for some pork, like literally.

There are moments that were reminiscent of the first movie in the trailer, like when Moana bangs the drum in a cave – pure deja vu, that. There are also some laugh-out loud moments in the trailer. So tag your calendar and patiently wait for November 27 to arrive. It’s gonna be a fun way to kickoff what is sure to be a great Christmas.
