Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that after the Friday, July 5 episode it’s clear that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) isn’t overly pleased that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is spending time with Claire Grace (Hayley Erin).

In typical Moustache fashion, he’ll meddle in their budding romance, but how far will he go?

Y&R Spoilers: Victor Newman Will Start Off Subtle

Y&R spoilers for Monday, July 8 suggest that Victor will have a chat with Claire about the Newman/Abbott rivalry, giving a bit of a history lesson on why he doesn’t trust that family.

Sure, he’s hired Kyle to run Glissade, along with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver); however, fans know The Moustache is just using Kyle to get back at Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). He’s got a big revenge plan on the go where Jackie is concerned, and it looks like things will get ugly between these long-time rivals.

Still, a little chat about the Abbott/Newman feud may not deter Claire. After all, everyone else in the family loves Jack, and the rest of the Abbotts – well, minus Diane Abbott (Susan Walters) – so she may not heed her grandfather’s warning or lovingly brush him off. This could cause Victor to go another route.

Y&R Spoilers: The Moustache Recruits Summer

Summer has zero issues with Jack, isn’t fond of Diane, and is in a terrible place with Kyle right now. Summer may approach her grandad for help with her custody case, as she knows Victor has a hate-on for the Abbotts.

In turn, Victor may have a chat with Summer and encourage her to have a talk to Claire about Kyle. While Summer doesn’t trust Claire and is slightly jealous of her bond with Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell), she may agree to chat with her new cousin for her grandpa’s sake.

Maybe he even entices her by agreeing to recruit the best family lawyer for her custody case – or something along those lines.

As Victor doesn’t know the ins and outs of the nature of the relationship Kyle and Audra had, and how their romance was a factor in his decision to end the Skyle marriage, The Moustache may prompt Summer to focus on this topic when she talks to Claire.

Claire may feel hurt that Kyle never mentioned his romance with Audra; she may even feel stupid. She’ll definitely feel insecure knowing the two will be working closely.

Audra may not be interested in Kyle, but Ms. Charles being in his orbit will bother Claire; especially if she sees their heads locked in a meeting the way Summer did recently.

But, will the information be enough for Claire to walk away from the idea of getting closer to Kyle? There’s a good chance that she builds a wall because of it, or ghost him.
