Y&R Spoilers: Summer Newman Turns To The Moustache

Y&R spoilers remind fans that Summer isn’t the boy’s biological mom, which means she has a massive uphill climb when it comes to claiming any rights for the child. This has been mentioned a few times recently, with Kyle proclaiming the statement during a fight he had with Summer this week.

In the real world, Summer wouldn’t have a leg to stand on in a custody battle; however, this is the land of Genoa City, where anything is possible.

With a grandfather like Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Summer has grown up without hearing the word “no”. Will she recruit the Moustache in her efforts to gain sole custody of Harrison? If Victor pulled some strings (i.e. pay off the judge) then perhaps Summer’s dream could become reality.

At the end of the day, Kyle works for Glissade, recruited by Victor; however, Newman only did this to get back at Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). If Summer came to him with a request to help her get custody of Harrison, The Moustache would agree to assist her.

Kyle does like Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) and there is a mutual attraction; however, Kyle’s also a master manipulator. Claire recently slipped and told him that Victor warned her about him, which had Kyle’s mind racing.

He may see Victor helping Summer from a mile away and try to retaliate; he may also sense that using Claire would be a great way to kill two birds with one stone.

Could he convince her to marry him? They do like each other, and Kyle could accelerate the relationship between him and Claire by seducing and charming her.

Marrying Claire would not only be a way to get back at the Moustache and Summer for their attempts to take Harrison away from him but having a “wife” during a custody battle is a good look for any judge.
