Young and the Restless Spoilers: Faith’s Rejection Causes Lucy To Spiral – Pool Party Ends On A Dire Note

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint disaster is on the horizon. Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) has become completely fascinated with Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster); however, the college student isn’t as enthusiastic about a friendship with the high schooler.

Sadly, Faith is gently trying to avoid Lucy without hurting her feelings, but Lucy seems oblivious to all and continues to pursue a friendship with her. She’s being relentless and not picking up on any of the hints Faith is dropping.

Y&R spoilers for Monday, July 22 reveal that Lucy will gear up for a pool party that one of Faith’s friends is holding; one that Lucy invited herself to. Looks like the proverbial poop is about to hit the fan in Genoa City, so, time to breakdown what could happen next in this storyline.

Y&R Spoilers: Faith Newman Rescinds Pool Party Invite

Y&R spoilers for Monday’s show state that despite Lucy’s excitement, Faith will rescind the pool party invite. She’ll feel very bad about doing this, but in all fairness, this is a college party with alcohol in the mix, and it’s likely better for young Lucy to stay home.

Having said that, Lucy will lie to her parents and refrain from telling them about being de-invited. Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will agree to her going; however, both will warn their daughter to stay away from the alcohol being served at the big event.

Y&R Spoilers: All Heck Breaks Loose!

As Lucy told her parents she’s attending the pool party, but she’s no longer invited, could she crash the festivities? This may provoke a clash between her and Faith, which could cause Lucy to spiral.

As there’s been so much talk about booze – from alcohol being served at the bash to Faith not being a drinker, not to mention all the memories of what happened when Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes) passed away (and Daniel being drunk at the time of the incident), it’s hard not to think alcohol could play a dangerous role in this storyline.

Maybe Lucy gets fed alcohol before her confrontation with Faith. She’ll be embarrassed after the argument and may flee quickly by simply jumping into a car if keys are laying around.

Then again, maybe Lucy leaves the pool party with some alcohol, goes somewhere unknown, drinks all by herself, and suffers some dire consequences. There’s also the idea that Lucy goes somewhere unknown with alcohol instead of the party, and drinks herself into trouble, too.

Either way, it looks like this arc is about to take a dangerous turn!
