The Bold and The Beautiful Spoilers: Li Killed Tom to Protect Luna, Knows He IS Poppy’s Baby Daddy?

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) could have a very strong reason to kill drifter/rock star Tom Starr (Clint Howard) just as he was getting his life back on track.

A pair of hands in black gloves poisoned Tom’s vivid blue sports drink before he went on stage at Il Giardino in the July 1, 2024 episode. Within minutes the drink was all gone and so was Tom. Whodunit? Maybe Li!

Weirdly, Jack Finnegan (Ted King) Li’s ex was also there that evening, so he could be a suspect as well if the police consider everyone in the crowd to be suspicious. Jack made it a point to say that it was highly unusual for Li to be at the concert, since she doesn’t like “live music.”

Li said she was there for takeout, but she did sit in the audience and watch Tom perform. Was it because she wanted to make sure that Tom croaked?

Secondly, it is bizarre that she didn’t offer to help Tom after he collapsed. What about her Hippocratic Oath?

And why would Li go to Il Giardino for food knowing that her arch enemy Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) works there? There are just too many question marks surrounding Li’s appearance at the outdoor bistro for us not to consider her a suspect.

The next question is, what would Li’s motive for murder be? Tom swore to Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) that he, not Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) is Luna Nozawa’s (Lisa Yamada) dad.

He seemed certain, and Poppy forbid him from contacting Luna. Maybe he was telling the truth?

Li administered the paternity test which showed that Bill is Luna’s dad. She made a big deal of saying it was a legit, sealed test. Uh huh.

That moment seemed shady at the time, but now with Tom’s death it takes on even more significance!

Did Li realize that Tom, or even Jack, could be the baby daddy and rigged it to make sure that Bill appeared to be the dad? Poppy lived with

Li and Jack, and their son John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) around the time Luna was conceived. Heck, maybe Finn is the dad!
