General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny And Nina Reunite To Stop Ava Once And For All

General Hospital spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) are in a very different place than they were just a few months ago.

Sonny and Nina were seemingly happy and ready to spend their lives together as husband and wife. But Nina had a secret: she had been the one who anonymously called and tipped off the SEC to Carly Spencer’s insider trading.

Once Sonny discovered that, he threw Nina out and promptly filed for divorce.

General Hospital Spoilers – Ava Jerome betrayed Nina Reeves

At first, Nina had hoped that she and Sonny would reconcile and she asked her good friend Ava Jerome (Maura West) to help facilitate a reconciliation.

But for reasons of her own, Ava manipulated the situation so that Sonny would be even angrier with Nina. Realizing that Ava wanted to be the one in Sonny’s inner circle, Nina gave up and signed the divorce papers.

Nina and Sonny have both moved on since then and really haven’t seen much of each other. Also, Nina and Ava’s friendship was destroyed, seemingly for good.

GH Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos is wise to Ava Jerome!

Eventually, Sonny discovered that Ava was the person responsible for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) losing her law license. He threw Ava out of the penthouse and filed for sole custody of their daughter Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola). Sonny has been looking for character witnesses with limited success.

Both Carly and Alexis agreed to tell the court that Sonny is a better parent than Ava ever could be. But Sonny may seek help from at least one more person: Nina. But will Nina be willing to help Sonny after he dismissed her so easily?

General Hospital Spoilers Nina Reeves still cares for Sonny Corinthos

Nina has certainly done her best to more forward. She been engaged in a casual relationship with Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Matheson). But that doesn’t mean she doesn’t still care for Sonny.

And after Ava betrayed Nina the way she did. Nina may agree to help Sonny by being a character witness for him. They both have a vested interest in making Ava pay, so regardless of how they feel about each other, Sonny and Nina could very well form a united front against Ava.
