General Hospital Spoilers: Katelyn MacMullen Talks About Getting The Opportunity To Be Nelle For “Just One Day”

General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that Willow Corinthos has a pretty good life in the land of Port Charles. She’s married to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), is raising their two children, has a fun new job, and the family roots she always dreamed of.

Still, the character’s portrayer, Katelyn MacMullen, recently revealed to Soap Opera Digest (SOD) how she wishes she could play Willow’s twin sister, Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) for just one day.

GH spoilers tease that Nelle and Willow never got along, but sadly the two also never knew they were twin sisters until Ms. Benson had long passed away.

During SOD’s recent edition of “Actor Roundup” where the online magazine asks soap stars the same question, Katelyn MacMullen (among others) was presented with this, query: What other role on your show would you like to play for a day?

MacMullen responded with, “I would love to play the character of Nell! Especially since she’s Willow sister and just so different from Willow, it would be really fun to do that for a day! But there’s no now without (past portrayer) Chloe Lanier, who is just amazing.”

Willow may also wish she was Nelle right about now, after planting a kiss on her husband’s uncle, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) during the Fourth of July festivities. Forget about the fireworks on the outside, sparks were flying everywhere within the Q mansion.

The show has been teasing some odd chemistry between Willow and Drew, who have always had a special friendship; however, the guilt that Willow feels right about now has her wishing she could climb under a rock or six feet under!
