General Hospital Spoilers: Cates’ Eavesdropping Discovery Could Change Everything!

General Hospital spoilers tease that Agent John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) has one reason and one reason only to remain in Port Charles.

His single goal remains the complete takedown of the Pikeman Group. For more than two years, Cates has been using Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) as an undercover agent in order to achieve that goal.

He forced Jason’s compliance by threatening him with a recording of Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) admitting to RICO violations that could put her away for at least twenty years.

General Hospital Spoilers – John Cates Believes That Anna Devane Is the Pikeman leader

Cates mistakenly believes that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is leader of the criminal Pikeman Group. And now that Jason’s undercover identity has been blown, John is forcing Jason to find evidence against Anna.

But Anna and Jason have been working together and have uncovered something that even Cates doesn’t know. The true enemy is Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). Anna has even discovered a satellite phone in Valentin’s home that she believes he is using to conduct Pikeman business.

GH Spoilers – John Cates may hear something he wasn’t meant to!

Next week, Cates will eavesdrop on a conversation he wasn’t meant to hear. It seems likely that he will realize that Anna and Jason have been withholding information from him all alone.

Now this could make him double down on his belief that Anna is the real threat. Or even worse, he could find out that Valentin is real Pikeman big bad. If so, there’s every reason to believe that he’ll storm Valentin’s house and make a mess of Anna’s investigation.

But perhaps Cates will learn that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) hacked into the FBI database and told Carly that she was the reason that Jason has been working for him all this time.

Cates has grown affectionate of Carly and may have decided to not use the evidence her either way. He could just be bluffing to keep Jason in line.

But if Carly knows, then Cates may be forced to let Jason off the hook should Carly confess to the RICO violations herself. That would ruin his hold over Jason and could ruin his investigation into Pikeman once and for all.
