General Hospital Spoilers reveal Dante Falconeri (GH) might have the best of intentions lecturing his father and trying to appeal to the sensibilities he knows are hiding somewhere inside of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), but his good will is going to fall flat this time around.

Dante has died on this sword too many times now, right? Every time he tries to pull his dad back from the ledge, it only leaves him disappointed and sometimes in a worse situation himself.

But this time around, Dante has no idea what’s really going on with his dad and why he’s so volatile — and certainly, no one wants him to find out.

How far will Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) go to keep the secret of Sonny’s botched meds under wraps?

General Hospital Spoilers — Take a Stab

Dante’s good advice will fall on deaf ears with Sonny, which isn’t all that surprising after their last heart to heart. Dante was furious with his father when Sonny stopped by after Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) wedding to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) to clue his son — the cop — in on what transpired between him and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).

Rather, Sonny brutally beat Dex and threatened to kill both him and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) — all while Dante’s half sister, Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi), bore witness to it.

Sonny put his son in a very compromising position by telling him he committed a crime and expecting him not to report it — which Dante did not.

But for some reason, he’s still trying to get his pops back on track as he suspects something isn’t right with him — even if it costs him in the end. Will it?

GH Spoilers Tease Sonny Sees Red as Dante Spies an Opportunity

Dante isn’t new to watching his father spiral out of control. It was Jason who first asked Sonny if he was off his meds, and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) wasn’t far behind him.

They’ve both seen Sonny at his worst and unmedicated; this looks so much like that — and for good reason, because it is!

Without that knowledge and believing his dad is taking his pills as directed, Dante may decide to do some detective work and figure out what’s going on with his father. Will he come to regret that decision?

Ava has her own agenda to serve right now. Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) is nothing if not resourceful as an attorney. Suggesting that Sonny needs to have a very public nervous breakdown, Ava knows she has a good shot of making that happen with the way his medical situation is being mismanaged.

She’ll just have to provoke him in just the right way, and possibly figure out who is lurking behind that GH pharmacist to get them to help her out.
