Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers suggest that Eli Grant continues to be a beloved character in the land of Salem, despite not currently being a “staple” on the show.

Still, fans are grateful for the time he does spend in the little town, when he and his main squeeze, Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) drop by for a visit.

Still, after actor Lamon Archey departed from Days full-time, he ended up jumping into another project, CW’s All American, where he initially played the not-so-well-loved character, Superintendent D’Angelo Carter.

Archey recently hopped on Instagram to share a video from All American’s Season 6 wrap. In the caption of the video, he writes, “I showed up to set as a co-star at the end of season 2 with the expectation of shooting one episode.

Four seasons later, I’ve been blessed to turn a character so disliked (I received threats and hate messages) into a loving husband, a dependable stepfather, and advocate and protector for the kids at Crenshaw High. What a blessing it’s been to be a part of this wonderful cast and crew.”

While Archey’s character D’Angelo was initially “a villain” on the show, he has evolved since then. Still, within the IG post, fans swarmed the comment section to offer Lamon support. One follower, @lamonarcheyfans0409 notes, “Soooo glad we got to see the evolution of Principal Carter. If they hate a character that much, it means you’ve done a phenomenal job as an actor.”

Meanwhile, another, @_.thereal12 wrote, “Threats? (crying emoji) C’mon guys, it’s just a show, enjoy it.”

In addition, @ _spelivia.edits commented saying, “Threats?? OMG, I’m so, so sorry that that happened to you. Nobody deserves that.”
