Young and the Restless Spoilers: Sharon’s Bipolar Meds Mix-Up – Mental Health Breakdown On The Horizon?

The Young and The Restless: Sharon Newman (Sharon Case)

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers note Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) was acting a little “off” during the Monday, June 17 episode.

She ripped a strip off someone at Cassidy First Technology while on the phone and seemed to have many “highs and lows” during her conversation with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) as they talked about Conner Newman’s (Judah Mackey) OCD issues and the facility he is currently in.

Is she headed for a breakdown?

Y&R Spoilers: Sharon Newman Revealed Something Interesting

Y&R spoilers for Monday’s show note that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) overheard the phone conversation Sharon had with someone from Cassidy and questioned her on it. After all, it’s very out of character for her to talk to anyone that way.

Sharon revealed that her doctor placed her on some new bipolar medication, which is protocol from time to time. She also added that she wasn’t sleeping well as she was adjusting to the new meds.

Is the show foreshadowing a new mental health storyline for Sharon?

Y&R Spoilers: Fans Want More Sharon Newman

Y&R spoilers note that Sharon hasn’t exactly taken center stage on the show for a long while. She’s been in scenes here and there; however, as fans are used to seeing Sharon as a staple on the show, many jumped on social media to voice their concerns.

It’s been a hot minute since Ms. Newman has had a solid storyline, so could a mental health breakdown be on the horizon? Her doctor changed her medication, which could be a recipe for disaster.

Is this an honest mistake, or is there more to this story? Is there another nemesis in the shadows seeking revenge against Sharon?

Could someone have prompted her doctor to change her meds on purpose so Sharon would suffer? Could this be an old enemy or someone linked to Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby)?

Then again, the show could be setting a realistic example of people who struggle with bipolar. Some tend to think that those who suffer from the condition just need to be “placed on meds” and the issue is erased when it is an ongoing disorder.

It’s not uncommon for medication and dosages to change, and for patients to have their ups and downs over the years.
