General Hospital’s Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) Reunites With Onscreen Daughter Kimberly McCullough (Robin Scorpio)

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint it’s been a hot minute since fans have seen Robin Scorpio-Drake in Port Charles, but that doesn’t mean Kimberly McCullough doesn’t keep in touch with onscreen mom, Finola Hughes (Anna Devane).

The two recently reunited, spending some time together in “real life”. More on this below.

GH’s Finola Hughes & Kimberly McCullough, Together Again!

On Saturday, June 22, McCullough’s partner, Rob White, was a part of the “Sun, Surf, Skate” show at the Stoked Malibu Art Gallery in California.

White had his pieces on display at the show, which was a collection of contemporary art selected by Bobbi Bennett, photographer and founder of Stoked Surfboards. Finola was there to support both Kimberly and Rob, and the ladies posted about the event on social media.

McCullough posted photos of Rob and his art on Instagram, with the caption, “So proud of my babe. @rob_w I’ve always liked skater boys. But I love this one the most. Congrats on the amazing show!”

Hughes posted multiple photos from the event on IG, too. One was of her and McCullough, one was of Kimberly with Rob, and the third was Rob in front of his art. The caption in Finola’s post stated, “So in awe of Rob’s beautiful show opening last night. Super cool skater vibe, love me some Kimberly.”

McCullough replied to Finola’s IG post, saying, “Love you, Fin! Thanks for coming out.” There’s clearly still a lot of love between this long-time TV mother and daughter.

GH’s Kimberly McCullough’s Legacy On The Show

McCullough originated the role of Robin Scorpio on GH at the age of seven in 1985, and unlike most younger characters on soaps who get SORASed, Kimberly and Robin grew at the same pace over the years.

Fans watched Robin transition from a child to a teen, young woman, esteemed doctor, and mother.

In addition to GH, McCullough played the role of Robin on GH’s spinoffs, Port Charles and GH: The Night Shift, as well as some episodes of All My Children (AMC).

In 2018, she announced that she was retiring from acting to focus on directing; however, did return in 2021 to be a part of GH’s tribute for actor John Reilly (Sean Donely).
