General Hospital’s Cameron Mathison Dishes On His New Game Show “Beat The Bridge” And His Cancer Journey

General Hospital star Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain) recently opened up to ET about his new gameshow and his path to wellness.

Cameron was declared cancer free four years ago and is feeling great. Mathison is certainly looking toward the future and is full of hope.

Cameron Mathison Offer A Health Update

General Hospital Spoilers reveal that Cameron Mathison has decided to offer a health update after begin cancer free for years.

Mathison previously who worked with ET as a correspondent previously, sat down with ET’s Nischelle Turner to discuss how he has been feelings, what he has learned and to offer lessons for others on a similar journey.

Mathison says he feels great! “You know that I work really hard at this and I take it real serious, as far as this transformation and rebounding from the cancer journey, specifically. But also [in terms of] longevity and continuing to do blood work and gut tests and hormone tests and then doing my MRIs and CT scans. And I keep on it the best I can.”

Thankfully, Mathison’s cancer was diagnosed early. Mathison says, “Obviously, once you get cancer, it’s not great. It’s not a great prognosis after that.

So all we can do is get ahead of it and and I try to do that and stay positive.” “I took health seriously [before my diagnosis], and I thought, ‘I know a lot!’ And I think I did, from one perspective, for sure,” Cameron said. “But what saved my life… was paying attention to my body.”

Mathison knew something was wrong, he said. “For two years, I insisted on this MRI, and eventually, they they said, ‘Maybe we should get one.

My blood work was a little off, not substantially, but I could feel it. I knew something was off.” “Pay attention. It doesn’t mean you have to run out and get an MRI every time something’s off. But at the same time, you know, just listen to your body.”

Game Show Network series Beat the Bridge

What do we know about Beat The Bridge? The show has two teams of contestants who must cross the titular bridge by answering questions.

Of course the questions are trivia questions. Correct answers earn money for the groups and allow players to keep crossing the bridge. However, wrong answers end your journey on the bridge and the show.

“For me, it’s something that I’ve wanted to do. I’ve always felt it was gonna be a great fit. I don’t know if you’ve noticed in our friendship, but I got a lot of energy.

I got a lot of enthusiasm. I’m a pretty positive guy. And I just thought it would be a good fit — and it really was.” Mathison says about hosting a game show. Mathison also wants to get to know the contestants while they are on the show. Good Luck with the new show.
