General Hospital Spoilers: Maxie Blasts Sam After Spinelli Lands In Hot Water

General Hospital spoilers tease that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) has taken it upon herself to help Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) now that she knows he has been forced to work undercover for the FBI these last few years.

Jason had no choice but to let everyone believe that he was dead or the FBI would use whatever leverage they have against. Once she discovered that, she decided to help Jason herself.

Unfortunately, she can’t do it alone so she enlisted Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) to hack into the FBI’s computer system and destroy the evidence against Jason.

General Hospital Spoilers – Damian Spinelli has a family of his own

Although Spinelli is fiercely loyal to Jason, Sam is asking him to put himself at risk in the process of helping Jason. Hacking into the FBI is a federal offense and could put Spinelli in prison for years.

Spinelli reluctantly agreed to help but only after speaking with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) first. Maxie and Spinelli are in the early stages of reconciliation and Spinelli recently moved in to Maxie’s house, albeit in separate bedrooms.

Spinelli didn’t feel right about agreeing to Sam’s request without Maxie’s approval.

GH Spoilers – Maxie Jones gave her approval, but with one condition!

Maxie told Spinelli that she thought he should work with Sam to help Jason. But she made it clear that Spinelli was entering into dangerous territory and insisted that Spinelli promise not to get caught.

She further explained that if things even looked like they would fall back on Spinelli, to wash his hands of the situation. Spinelli happily agreed so he and Sam have begun their plan.

Spinelli has already hacked into the FBI mainframe and they have managed to get Agent John Cates’ (Adam Harrington) credentials thanks to Sam.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sam McCall may have lost her touch

Sam distracted Cates while Spinelli stole Cates’ key card and duplicated it. Although Spinelli managed to go undetected, Sam told Cates a story that pretty much told him exactly who she was.

That means that Cates is likely to become very suspicious and could potentially figure out what Sam and Spinelli are up to. Spinelli and Sam would both be looking at prison time if they can’t find the evidence they need before Cates figures out what they did.

And if Cates does figure out what happens and catches Spinelli, Maxie will have every reason to blame Sam. Sam is basically letting Spinelli risk his family to save hers.
