General Hospital Spoilers: Jason’s Sacrifice For Carly Changes His Relationship With His Twin Drew

General Hospital spoilers tease that Drew Cain (Cameron Matheson) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) couldn’t be more different in most ways, but they do have some things in common.

Drew did believe he was Jason for many years, and actually lived his life as Jason until Jason returned to reclaim his life. Because of this, Drew and Jason have always been at odds.

They seemed to come together on Cassadine Island, but then Jason was once again presumed dead.

Jason and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) have always had a special bond. They started out as lovers but eventually realized they worked better as the best of friends.

They briefly thought about rekindling their romance, but Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) returned and then Jason disappeared and was presumed dead.

During the time Jason was missing, Drew and Carly fell in love. Drew even sacrificed himself when he and Carly were implicated in insider trading.

GH Spoilers – Drew Cain went to prison for Carly Spencer

Drew spent several months in prison and while there he was beaten and almost died. After Drew was released, he was a different man and full of anger.

He eventually broke up with Carly once Jason returned because Drew knew that Carly would always put Jason first. Drew and Carly have remained friends though, much the way that Jason and Carly are friends. However, Drew and Jason don’t seem to want anything to do with each other. But that might change once Drew learns why Jason let the world believe he was dead for over two years.

As viewers know, Jason has been working undercover for the FBI as an informant for the past several years. But neither Carly not Drew know why Jason agreed to work for the FBI.

But the truth is that Jason was blackmailed by Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington) because Cates had a recording of Carly admitting she was running the Corinthos criminal empire while Sonny was presumed dead.

Jason and Drew have both been willing to make great sacrifices in order to save Carly, so once the truth comes out it may finally be the thing that bonds the twins together.
