Matthew Ashford, who plays Jack Deveraux, left town some time ago after being blackmailed by Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien).
Of course, Gwen wanted the Spectator and then walked away when she and Dimitri Von Leuschner’s (Peter Porte) broke up after she learned he was in a relationship with Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart).
Jack is back on and important mission which could lead to the discovery of Abby Dimera (Marci Miller). Jack will be in scenes with Chad Dimera (Billy Flynn) and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes)
Can they find Abby and bring her back home where she belongs or is Clyde Weston (James Read) lying about her survival?

Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price (Sal Stowers) will be back in Salem this week as well. Lani and Eli have come to help celebrate Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) wedding anniversary.

Julie is planning to accompany Chad Dimera (Billy Flynn) to Chicago to find a safety deposit box. According to Clyde, this box contains proof that Abby is alive and well.
Will Eli jump in on the action? Perhaps Eli feels that his grandmother should leave the hunting to the younger people, especially him since he is trained in these kinds of situations?

Although her role hasn’t been announced yet, it seems that AnnaLynne McCoy will make her debut this week. However, it is unknown who she will be playing.
However, fans are speculating that she could be a recast for Abby. Will we see Abby that long before Chad finds her. Will fans and Chad get their first glimpse of her at the same time?
Doug Simpson has also joined the cast as Mr. Mooney. He will appear on Wednesday, June 19 as a bank employee. Julie and Chad will interact with Mr. Mooney when they go to check out that safety deposit back. Will Chad and Julie find the information they need to prove that Abby is alive?
