Young and the Restless Spoilers: Summer Plots Scheme To Make Claire Look Like The Villainess She Believes Her To Be

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers note that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) is growing very impatient with her current situation.

She is jealous skeptical of Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) and her “recovery”, and believing she is a threat, while everyone else around her, with the exception of her mom Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), thinks the young lady is okay.

Will Summer take desperate action to change everyone’s perception on Claire?

Y&R Spoilers: Summer Newman Can’t Understand How Everyone Can Easily Trust Claire Grace

Y&R spoilers reveal that pretty much everyone has accepted Claire into the Genoa City fold. Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) adores her, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is intrigued by Claire’s strength, and even Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is won over.

It’s hard to see if Summer is truly skeptical that Claire is healed or if she’s jealous. After all, Summer has always been the apple of the Moustache’s eye and she may not want to share that spot in the Newman family with Claire. 

While Kyle is an ex, he still was once her hubby, and Harrison being smitten with Ms. Grace clearly rubs Summer the wrong way.

Still, this jealousy is also mixed with a distrust of Claire, thanks to past actions, and Summer may decide to take matters into her own hands.

Y&R Spoilers: Summer Is Her Mother’s Daughter

Summer used to be a schemer, but she has changed her ways. Still, this doesn’t mean she’s above hatching a plan to make Claire look bad or even, still mentally unstable.

Summer may convince herself that what she’s doing is for the greater good. Speeding up the process of Claire’s true nature to be revealed in an effort to protect not only her immediate family in Harrison, but her extended family, too.

But could she end up losing the ones she loves in the process? Fans believe, for the most part, that Claire is reformed. Even Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) has questioned Summer’s distrust of Claire.

The Summance romance has been incredible, but if Summer’s scheming colors shine, she may not only lose Chance, but possibly Harrison and the respect of the Newmans.
