Young and the Restless Spoilers: Diane Takes Over At Jabot After Both Jack & Ashley Spiral Out Of Control

The Young and The Restless: Diane Abbott (Susan Walters)

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest that the Abbott family is going through a lot right now. Off the cusp of Harrison Abbott’s (Redding Munsell) kidnapping (and rescue), Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) fell off the wagon and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is struggling with her dissociative identity disorder (DID).

If both Abbott siblings spiral out of control, could Diane Abbott (Susan Walters) end up being in charge Jabot? What kind of repercussions could this have for the company?

Y&R Spoilers: Jack Abbott’s Extreme Measures

Y&R spoilers suggest fans were shocked when Jack relapsed during a recent episode, ordering a stack of pills from his old drug dealer in an effort to shake Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) into entering rehab.

The stunt worked; however, he’s placed his own sobriety on the line to do so.

Jack may feel as if his addiction is intact, but at the end of the day, his slip up could create a domino effect where he falls back into a pill-popping trap.

The pills he took at the GCAC are in his system, and it would only be natural for him to want to feel that high again and again. His intentions were good, but he may have an uphill battle for sobriety that could result in requiring rehab himself.

The Young and The Restless: Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman)

Meanwhile, Ashley isn’t doing so well, either. Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) called in her friend from Paris, physiatrist Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins).

He’s arrived on scene, but fans can sense that Ashley’s alter egos, whether that be “Belle” or “Ms. Abbott”, will cause a ton of drama before she gets the therapy she needs and is committed.

With both Ashley and Jack out of commission, could Diane take over at Jabot?

Y&R Spoilers: Will Diane Stir Things Up?

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is now at Chancellor-Winters, but while at Jabot, he was concerned that Diane’s endgame was to take over the Abbott business. As CEO of the company, Jack did oversee Diane’s work, but with him gone, she’ll have free reign.

Diane doesn’t seem to have ulterior motives, but if she did, in light of all the drama going on with Jack and Ashley, could she do something sneaky as the “be all and end all” at Jabot? Will her true colors shine?
