General Hospital Spoilers: Finn Can’t Stop Thinking About Another Drink As Gregory Fades Away

General Hospital spoilers tease that Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) inadvertently took a drink of champagne during Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) wedding reception.

As a recovering addict, taking a drink is the last thing Finn would ever want to do. He’s been tempted quite a bit in recent weeks as it is. But now that he’s gotten a taste of alcohol, its going to be even more difficult to abstain going forward.

General Hospital Spoilers – Hamilton Finn has a lot on his plate!

Finn has been watching his father, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) slowly decline from ALS. Finn has been working to balance Gregory’s need for independence with his need to have round the clock care.

Gregory was so angry with Finn that he brought painful memories from their past. As viewers know, Finn slept with his future step mother, Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) the night before her wedding to Gregory.

Gregory long ago forgave Finn, but still lashed out in anger. Finn sought out fellow alcoholic Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) who helped Finn find a nearby AA meeting.

GH Spoilers – Gregory Chase is fading fast!

Gregory had a slight setback as he was officiating the wedding, but thanks to Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), Gregory was able to finish the ceremony and was able to enjoy himself at the reception as well.

But that’s not going to last. Spoilers indicate that Gregory’s death is right around the corner. Finn’s going to be tempted to take another drink more than ever before. Finn may even blame himself for taking that first drink, even though it was a complete accident.

Finn neglected to tell Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), or anyone else for that matter, that he took a big gulp from a glass of champagne.

Once Gregory passes away, Finn will likely take another drink if he can’t get to a meeting in time or speak with Alexis, who is going to be out town in the next few days.

But will Finn hit rock bottom or will it be just an isolated incident? Drinking can harm more than just Finn, but also Elizabeth, Finn’s daughter Violet Barnes (Jophielle Love) and all those who love him.
