General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is growing suspicious of Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). There are theories as to why she feels this way. Keep on reading to learn more.
The General Hospital spoilers reveal Anna’s suspicion of Dante. She encouraged him to quit the police force. Now that he’s considering it, Anna goes behind his back and gives Dex Heller (Evan Hoffer) the riot act about whether Dante is a dirt cop. She thinks he’s protecting Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
This was brought up on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards. GH fans speculated as to why Anna feels this way. It’s as if she flipped a switch on Dante. She’s so upset about it that she threatens Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) to force Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) to persecute Sonny.
“I don’t think she is actually suspicious of him – more like doing more checks and balances to see where he really stands with Sonny,” one fan argued.
“If she’s not sure about Dante, she should have accepted his resignation, not talked him out of it. Wish I was a tiny spot on the wall where the writers brainstorm their story ideas to each other,” another user mused.
According to the General Hospital spoilers, Anna is off her mark lately. Some fans wondered what was going on with her. Some believe that Anna wants to ensure Dante is true to his word. Knowing this will keep her sanity in check.
“I think she was looking for a sanity check on her own decision, perhaps validation that she was right with her own assessment,” one fan wrote.
“I doubt Anna is suspicious of Dante…it’s Sonny she doesn’t trust…and she wants to keep Dante away from anything Sonny is up to,” another user speculated.
The General Hospital spoilers suggest that she could be written out of character. Her attitude towards Sonny is unlike her. It was brought on randomly by Laura Spencer (Genie Francis). Some GH fans blame the new writers for the way they’ve written her character.
“These new writers are making EVERYTHING weird,” one user noted.
