DOOL spoilers suggest that while Paulina and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) were very concerned about how sick and lethargic Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) has been lately, the good news is that the symptoms are not a result of radiation exposure, rather, she’s pregnant.

Even though the couple wasn’t trying for a baby, this is a welcoming announcement for the couple. While Paulina was on her deathbed recently, Chanel had mentioned to Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) that she was afraid her mom would pass away before she got to have a baby. She too, wanted to see moments of her own child bonding with her mother.

Looks like she’s getting that chance. Still, with the tension rising between Paulina and EJ, will these two grandparents ruin the whole experience?

DOOL Spoilers: Could The Baby Still Be At Risk Because Of Radiation?

EJ is bent on exposing Paulina to the greater public for putting lives at risk by leaving her radiation isolation room during a recent snowstorm to save Chanel. Still, by the looks of it, Mayor Price didn’t only end up saving her daughter, but her and EJ’s grandchild, too.

Will EJ soften his stance in light of all this?

Then again, what if the radiation exposure has placed Chanel’s little one at risk? Could this anger EJ, that much more? Especially if there’s a chance that Chanel could lose her and Johnny’s baby or if the child is born with defects because of the radiation exposure. The very idea that his grandchild could suffer because of Paulina’s spontaneity could mount EJ’s anger.
