Y&R Spoilers: Summer Dealing With Crisis

According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Phyllis Newman and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) are in crisis mode. Summer’s son Harrison Locke (Redding Munsell) has been kidnapped.

He’s at the hands of Jordan. However, Summer claims that Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) was the one who flew off the handle and kidnapped Harrison.

She had a bad feeling about Claire since she got her background history. Summer believes that Claire isn’t a changed person. Summer had a feeling that Claire shouldn’t be trusted around children. This was brought up when Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) considered Claire for the nanny role.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Could Phyllis Save the Day?

The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Phyllis could save the day. She’s dealing with her daughter’s heartache. Phyllis revealed that she would love to find Harrison herself.

This could set her up for a redemption arc. This theory popped up on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards. However, some Y&R fans think Phyllis is making the situation about herself.

“You know they’re going to make Claire the hero who saves the little prince and offs Jordan and Summer will have to eat crow pie,” one fan wrote.

“I absolutely detest Phyllis, I mean DETEST HER…… but this the one time I want to see Phyllis put her deranged lunacy to good use,” another fan noted.

“Maybe we get a redemption arc Phyllis scenario where she saves Harrison but knowing her she probably kills an innocent Claire misreading the situation with only Summer’s voice pounding in her head about Psycho Girl and then has to tell everyone it was self-defense again in the motel,” a third user wrote.

For this to be a successful redemption arc, Phyllis would have to not make this situation about herself. She would be motivated to save the day because she wants Harrison safe and sound.

For once, she could put her own needs ahead of her daughter’s and finally end Jordan. This would make her look good in the eyes of the Abbotts and the Newmans.
