General Hospital Spoilers: Is Dex’s PCPD Pursuit An Attempt To Win Josslyn Back? Evan Hofer Chimes In On The Idea

General Hospital spoilers note that both fans and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), were completely shocked when Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) dumped the henchman because of “doing his job”, which meant following Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) orders by axing Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

While Dex ended up not having to go through with it, Joss was still rubbed the wrong way; well, enough to break up with her beau right on the spot.

Now, Dex has an opportunity to redeem himself in Joss’s eyes, so is that why he’s so interested in becoming one of Port Charles’s finest?

GH Spoilers: The Offer That Blew Dex Heller Away

GH spoilers indicate that Dex’s breakup with Joss shook him so much that he immediately went to the PCPD, walked into Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) office, and confessed his attempted murder of Cyrus.

While he ended up walking out as a free man, in the end, he also carved a new job opportunity for himself. Actor Evan Hoffer recently sat down with Soap Opera Digest (SOD) to talk about “what’s next”, for Dex.

Heller notes that Dex was “surprised” at how it all went down, but he also notes that Anna is intelligent and always thinks “a few steps ahead”. He also adds that it has been “wonderful” to work with soap legend, Finola Hughes.

Evan also states that he thinks Heller would make a good officer. After all, he’s loyal and fierce, would do anything for the people he cares about, and he’ll put himself on the line.

GH Spoilers: Is This A Ploy To Get Josslyn Back?

It’s natural for fans to think that Dex’s new ambitions to become a cop could be linked to winning Josslyn’s heart back; however, Evan tells SOD that  he doesn’t think his character is pursuing the job opportunity with hopes to win her heart back.

Heller admits that Dex has placed Joss on a pedestal, and he probably doesn’t think he deserves her, but he does want to prove to her that he could be the person she thought he was.
