General Hospital Spoilers: Asher Antonyzyn Talks Special Bond With Onscreen Parents Steve Burton & Kelly Monaco

General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that despite the time apart, Danny Morgan has a strong bond with his dad, Jason Morgan. In addition, while Danny is at odds with Sam McCall about not seeing his father, there’s still a ton of love between the son and mom.

Now the character’s portrayer, young actor Asher Antonyzyn talks about the unique bond he shares with his onscreen father, actor Steve Burton, and onscreen, mom, actress Kelly Monaco.

GH spoilers indicate that even though his mom Sam has warned Danny to stay away from Jason, the young man keeps reaching out to his father.

Antonyzyn recently talked to Soap Opera Digest (SOD) noting that Kelly offers great tips and advice to him when acting. In fact, she’ll stop whatever she’s doing to help him prepare for scenes.

Asher states that Kelly is so “personable” and always makes him feel comfortable, adding that she “always watches out” for him.

Meanwhile, Antonyzyn also states during his SOD interview that he and Steve Burton instantly connected. He notes that Burton has “taken” him under his “wing” and has taught him so much.

Asher states that Steve is “amazing”, “energetic”, and “genuine with everyone”. In fact, Asher goes on to say Burton is a great guy who always comes up to him when he’s in the make-up chair and asks how his life is going.

Asher tells SOD that he has “some of the best parents” on the soap!

No doubt Kelly and Steve are excellent sources of support to Asher when he’s on set, and it’s great that they can get on the same page about this. However, can Jason and Sam get on the same co-parenting page when it comes to Danny? That’s an entirely different subject!
