Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Soap Announces New Cast Members … But Who Will They Be Playing?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that as the show continues to gear up for the tribute to the late and great Bill Hayes (Doug Williams) and its 15,000th episodes, the character comebacks continue to go strong.

From Stephen Schnetzer (Steve Olson) to Gloria Loring (Liz Chandler), and more recently Melissa Reeves (Jennifer Horton-Deveraux), the show is going big with all the familiar faces returning.

With that being said, the soap’s Instagram account recently introduced fans to some not-so-familiar faces who could step into some very familiar roles.

DOOL Spoilers: Welcome To Salem, Cherie Jimenez & Al Calderon!

Days spoilers suggest that the daytime drama could be recasting some fan favorites. The soap posted two new faces on their IG account, actress Cherie Jimenez and actor Al Calderon, with a caption that read, “Hmmmm, who could they be?!”

Most fan comments believed that actress Cherie Jimenez was Gabi Hernandez-DiMera’s replacement, as OG Gabi, actress Camila Banus, left the show last year.

Gabi’s been in prison for a murder she did not commit, since, and it seems only logical that the character be recast so that she can rejoin the drama in Salem.

Cherie seems to fit the “look” of Gabi, so she could likely be a recast for this role. Then again, maybe she’ll play a new character or another recast.

But, who could Al Calderon be?

Fan speculation on the DOOL IG post ranged from a Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) recast to possibly being a Parker Jonas (last played by Christian Ganiere) SORAS – if Cherie Jimenez was playing Arianna Horton (Lana Rose) SORAS and a Dario Hernadez (Jordi Vilasuso) recast.

With Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) still in the picture, the Hernandez family could use a boost and Dario does have a history on the soap.

Fans may recognize Jimenez from appearances on NCIS, Pretty Little Liars, and The Newsroom, while Calderon has been on The Walking Dead: World Beyond as well as The Haves and the Have Nots.
