Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease Everett Lynch aka Bobby Stein (Blake Berris) will move ahead with hypnotherapy in spite of his fears.

Part of him is afraid of what might come up in his memories of his past as Bobby, because of the great fear he senses.

Everett is certainly in no rush to prove to himself that he’s the monster Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) thinks he is, although he can no longer deny he’s her ex.

He can’t make sense of this double life that he has apparently led, because he can’t deny the proof that he’s been given in the forms of birth certificates and DNA.

Even his name he uses now ties back to his past-his mother’s maiden name was Lynch, even though he barely remembers her, and that had to come from somewhere.

It’s not likely that everything came from the accident he had, because it’s been proven he was both Bobby and Everett during the same time period.

The only thing that checks all the boxes is dissociative identity disorder, likely made worse by his traumatic brain injury; he was Bobby and Everett before that.

DOOL Spoilers: His Dad Was An Abusive Drunk, But Now He Doesn’t Remember

The writers providing the storylines now were temporary; writing while the WGA strike was going on-so there is a little inconsistency.

Before, Everett knew he lost his mother when he was very little and said his father was a drunk-now he doesn’t remember his father at all.

Of course, Everett could have just been filling in the blanks with something he thought reasonable as well, to explain about his father even if he didn’t remember back then.

Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) doesn’t know anything about Everett’s dad other than the one time she asked about him, Everett zoned out; that zoning out could have been his alter emerging.

There is a good chance his father was abusive to him and his mother when he was little-and he’s afraid of the memories that may emerge in hypnotherapy.

Everett will indeed see “something” scary when Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) hypnotizes him during the week of April 1.

He could see his dead mother in a pool of blood, with his father standing over her, or he could even remember himself being responsible-accidentally.

Or, he could have a memory of his scary monster father abusing him, which caused his personality to split right away, or an accident in which both his parents were killed.

Any of those scenarios could cause the fragile personality of a little boy to split, and a stronger personality emerge to protect a weaker one.

Everett’s got some scary situations ahead of him as he goes deeper into hypnotherapy, and it could take a number of sessions before he’s integrated.
