Y&R Spoilers: Skyle Get a New Son

According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, the former couple is getting a new son. But it’s not what you think. Their son is going to look a lot different lately. Starting Friday, April 12, Harrison will no longer be played by Kellen Enriquez. Newcomer Redding Munsell will take over the role.

That means Harrison will ditch his long curly locks. Enriquez played Kyle’s son since he made his debut in May 2021. At the time, he was known as Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman & Richard Burgi) son.

Even though Munsell is new to the soap opera genre, he appeared in Red, White, and Blue with Guiding Light alum Brittany Snow.

The Young and the Restless spoilers don’t reveal when this change occurred. The writers want to move forward with Harrison’s storyline. Most of the time, they get SORASed on soaps to give them a prominent storyline.

Recently, Harrison was in a bad mood because Summer and Kyle were no longer together.

Summer and Kyle are hunting for a new nanny for their son. They teased the idea of hiring Claire (Hayley Erin) since she was the first person to make him smile. That alone qualifies her for the job even though she has no experience with working with kids.

The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Summer will be against the idea. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) told her about Claire’s history with his family and she immediately told Kyle that it was a bad idea. Kyle might still be open to it because his son warms up to her.

This could also suggest that Kyle could develop an interest in Claire. He might find that she’s better than the nanny role. She could become his next mom. This could cause an issue with his ex-wife.

According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, the show is embarking on a new storyline for Harrison. This means that he will get to leave his bedroom and interact with his family. He might also try to get Skyle to reunite.
