General Hospital Spoilers: There’s No Hope For A CarSon Reunion, Here Are Some Clues

General Hospital (GH) spoilers note while CarSon fans continue to have hope around the super couple’s reunion, recent events indicate that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will continue to stay apart, for the near future, anyway. Recent episodes offer some clues, and below is a bit of a breakdown of it all.

GH Spoilers: Carly Spencer & Sonny Corinthos – The Day That Changed Everything

GH spoilers reveal that things changed dramatically for CarSon in December 2020 when Sonny and Julian Jerome (William deVry) fell off that fateful bridge.

Julian would end up being confirmed dead, while (at the time) Sonny’s body wasn’t found. The mob boss’s family and loved ones believed he was gone for good, so they moved on. Little did they know, he was alive and well.

Of course, Sonny made his way to Nixon Falls during that time, ended up having amnesia, and fell in love with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

While he made his way back to Port Charles and eventually got his memory back, the time he spent with Nina outside of Port Charles changed him (and GH storylines) forever.

When he returned, he couldn’t shake the feelings he had for Nina during the time he believed he was “Mike”. The two would end up succumbing to their emotions, and the CarSon relationship completely fell apart.

CarSon divorced, and Carly ended up turning to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) for love and comfort.

GH Spoilers: Carly Spencer & Sonny Corinthos Remain Doomed

GH spoilers hint that some CarSon fans cling to the idea of a reunion, especially in light of recent events. Sonny and Nina have officially broken things off thanks to Ms. Reeves’s SEC secret reveal.

In addition, viewers were recently shocked when Drew ended his romance with Carly, upon learning that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) had returned.

Still, CarSon has a major uphill battle when it comes to a reunion, which likely won’t come to be, anytime soon. They are on opposite sides of supporting Jason, as Sonny believes Stone Cold had something to do with Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) shooting, while Carly believes he’s innocent.

Not to mention the fact that Sonny recently learned about Carly’s betrayal as it relates to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) hiring Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) as a mole in this dad’s organization.

Then, there’s the Ava Jerome (Maura West) factor to consider. Fans have seen how close Ava’s gotten to Sonny, and there’s definitely some chemistry there.

Plus, with Drew leaving Carly because he feels there’s no way he can compete with her feelings for Jason, there have been hints that a Jarly romantic reunion could be on the horizon.
