General Hospital Spoilers: Is Jex Really Through? Eden McCoy Offers Her Thoughts

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate fans were shocked during the Monday, March 18 show when Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) unexpectedly (and hastily) broke up with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).

But are they done for good? Actress Ede McCoy recently spoke with Soap Opera Digest (SOD) about the young super couple’s break-up and what comes next for Joss.

GH Spoilers: Jex Was A “Classic” Soap Opera Super Couple

GH spoilers note that Jex truly connected with some fans. Eden tells SOD the reason for this likely was that the twosome was a “classic” soap love story: a “bad” boy (with a heart of gold) from the wrong side of the tracks falling in love with “good girl” Joss.

Dex is also in a bad situation, and his romance with Joss was very Romeo and Juliet-ish. Eden states it’s a “tale as old as time”. McCoy goes on to note that their relationship also had an element of danger, which excited most viewers.

GH fans have been a little upset with Joss’s behavior, more recently and in the past. Many feel as if her break-up and the reason behind it – Dex’s attempted murder of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) upon Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) request, despite killing multiple times before – was hypocritical.

Still, Eden is used to her character being judged, as many didn’t agree with the way Jex came together in the first place as Joss cheated on Cameron Webber (William Lipton).

Still, Eden notes to SOD that she felt as if fans were getting a little “bored” of Cam and Joss together. While it sucked to see Cameron’s heart get broken, this is a soap opera after all, and the storyline did provide drama.

GH Spoilers: Is This The End Of Jex, For Good?

Of course, Eden also talked about the Jex breakup, and when asked about a reunion, she notes that as this is a soap, there’s no “end” to anything!

McCoy tells SOD that she doesn’t want to be “that person” who gives a standard answer; however, anything and everything is always possible in Port Charles. Her answer to Jex’s potential romantic future is that she “never” says “never”.

She also says that there isn’t anyone on canvas right now that Joss could jump into a romance with, but “hopefully” that could all change.
