While he wasn’t exactly jumping into speed dating, he did seem open to something more than business or friendship when he bumped into Deputy Mayor Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) at the gym.

Is Drew about to get wrapped up in a tryst with Jordan? If so, will it be genuine, or is he just trying to forget about Carly and her undying love for his twin brother, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton)? Moreover, will he use a newfound romance with Jordan to exact pain on Carly — the new object of his revenge?

Drew was never the type to dwell on a broken heart or grieve in such unhealthy ways before. But something tells us this new and not-so-improved version of the guy is going to take it pretty darned hard that Carly didn’t even think about him when Jason came back into the picture.

Let’s be honest; is Carly really going to care about Drew getting all tangled up with someone else? Will a woman like Jordan — on the very much right side of the law — really threaten Carly all that much?

If she hooks up with Jason, Drew would likely be the least of her concerns. In the middle of his efforts to get a reaction from Carly though, Jordan may be the innocent third party who is inflicted by the collateral damage of Drew and Carly’s breakup.

Is their impending business lunch going to turn into much more? If so, will Drew be transparent enough for Jordan to know what she’s getting herself into, or will she regret ever getting involved with him after she falls for his lies?

Jordan isn’t typically a stupid woman. She’s not the type we generally see getting played. But we did see her use some serious caution when she linked up with Zeke Robinson (Gavin Houston), worried that he might want more to come of their love affair than she was on board with at first.

However, that brief romance taught Jordan that she was ready for love again after Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). Will Drew become that man in her life?
