Out of the hospital, the couple is preparing to get back to their normal lives. However, during the week of April 1, 2024, Tripp realizes Wendy has post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Could Tripp reach out to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) in an attempt to help Wendy?

DOOL spoilers reveal that Clyde tried to send a message to Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) prior to his prison escape. Tripp and Wendy were kidnapped by former police officer Goldman (Christy St. John).

Even though Tripp and Wendy were eventually found, they both weren’t breathing. In addition to that, Clyde and Goldman escaped.

During the week of April 1, Wendy will show signs of PTSD. Tripp will find out that Wendy is having trauma from their time in captivity.

Now that Tripp and Wendy are out of the hospital, they have returned home. Perhaps Wendy will have nightmares or jump at every sound. Maybe Wendy will wake up in the middle of the night believing she’s still in captivity and running out of air.

Tripp Johnson’s SOS

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Wendy’s mental health storyline was foreshadowed. When Wendy first went into captivity, she had a panic attack.

It was surprising that Wendy didn’t have another panic attack when Tripp said the air vents were closed. So, that suggested Wendy’s mental health could be spotlit in a new story arc.

During the week of April 1, Tripp will try to help Wendy with her PTSD. However, Tripp is an ER doctor, not a mental health professional.

So, there will be only so much Tripp can do for Wendy. Tripp can be there to support her through it, but Tripp has other responsibilities.

This could lead Tripp to talk to the best psychiatrist he knows… Marlena Evans. With Marlena treating Wendy’s PTSD, could we learn more about the Shin family?

Wendy’s mother has been mentioned a lot lately, so we expect her to show up any day now! During Wendy’s text messages and phone calls with her mother, it sounds like a very complicated relationship.

Will Tripp asks for Marlena’s help with Wendy’s PTSD? Will fans learn more about Wendy’s upbringing and especially her mother?
