Lexie has appeared to Abe before, the last time in 2021 played by Jennifer Lee. Abe had been shot and flatlined and had a near-death experience himself-but that time he went to her; she sent him back, telling him it was not his time.

Lexie had died in his arms, having developed an inoperable brain tumor-she was Theo Carver’s (Cameron Johnson) mother and Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) daughter with Celeste Perrault (Beverly Todd).

So it makes perfect sense for the angel dressed in white who entered Paulina’s hospital room as Abe was crying and praying to be Lexie.

Lexie’s death was so hard on Abe that she perhaps couldn’t stand for him to be widowed again-even if he didn’t have his memory.

DOOL Spoilers: Paulina Price Felt Herself Slipping Away

Paulina’s heart was getting worse, waiting for a heart transplant and she felt herself slipping away-that made Abe cry and start praying.

There had been no heart available for Paulina and the transplant list is long-she wasn’t sure she would live until a transplant was available.

The condition isn’t fixable with a pacemaker or another device, it has to be a heart from a compatible human being, and her daughters also are worried.

Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) and Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers) were outside in the waiting room, crying and praying as well; Paulina definitely needs a miracle!

Suddenly, in the midst of Abe’s prayers Paulina was bathed in a bright light and a woman dressed in white appeared at the front of the bed, very close to Abe.

His eyes are wide and the fear and shock is on his face like she’s there to take Paulina-but Lexie assures him she’s not.

She may not actually speak a word out loud but there will be an understanding and a great sense of peace-and somehow Abe will know she’s there to heal Paulina.

She will seem familiar to Abe since Lexie, as well as the rest of his life prior to his amnesia is somewhere in his subconscious. In fact, Paulina’s heart may not be the only thing healed, and it will truly be miraculous.
