Young And The Restless Spoilers: Is Ashley Abbott Suffering From A Mental Health Breakdown?

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest that the he-said/she-said storyline between Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) is heating up.

For months, fans have been questioning who was telling the truth about the incident that occurred between the couple at a Paris café.

According to Ashley, Tucker turned violent when the two were arguing during their honeymoon; however, according to Tucker, he got mad, but not exactly violent.

The Young and The Restless Spoilers – Ashley Abbott Haunted For Months

Tucker’s insistence that he did not do anything overly wrong during their argument has haunted Ashley for months now. So much so, that she, along with her sister Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) flew down to Paris and visited the café to get to the bottom of things.

When they questioned the waiter there, he corroborated Tucker’s story, which has sent Ashley into a tailspin.

On the one hand, it’s totally plausible that Tucker paid the waiter, and possibly everyone at the café off. He’s been gunning for the Abbotts and gaslighting Ashley into believing she’s delusional would be the ultimate payback.

Still, it’s hard for fans not to question if Ashley is having a mental health breakdown. After all, she has a history of mental health illness, and while she’s been doing well for years, this doesn’t mean she isn’t prone to a relapse. Plus, watching Ashley’s reaction to Tucker’s statements and even her behavior as of late hints that she might be losing her mind again.

Y&R Spoilers – What Is Going On?

Tucker is a lot of things, but violent, he is not; it just seems far too out of his personality to do this. With that being said, it’s not far-fetched to believe that he’d pull a violent stunt (knowing he’d never cross a line), merely as payback to poke at Ashley when all is said and done.

Y&R spoilers suggest that things may get worse for Ashley and her mental health before they get better. After all, despite getting to the “bottom of things” in Paris, she is refusing to leave. What exactly does she think she’ll stumble on if she stays there? Fans will have to tune in to find out.
