The Young and The Restless spoilers and rumors tease Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) flashbacks and hallucinations may seem like post-traumatic stress disorder or a breakdown, but could it be something worse?

Might Ashley have developed a small aneurysm or brain tumor-depending on the part of the brain, one could cause similar symptoms!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: No Headaches?

Ashley hasn’t complained of any headaches, but if a tumor or aneurysm is small, it may not cause them-it depends on which part of the brain it’s in as well.

She hasn’t appeared to have any visual disturbances either-other than possibly hallucinations. However, when she made a dangerous move to go and confront Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) in his suite, she was hearing a voice in her head.

She held her head as if in pain and told the voices to stop-but they wouldn’t, and that’s when the voice told her to get back her control. She doesn’t mention any headaches but she sure acts like she’s having some pain-and hears conflicting voices in her head as well.

Y & R Spoilers: Chelsea Lawson’s Aneurysm Led To Later Mental Symptoms

A couple of years back, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) had an aneurysm that led to later mental symptoms after she recovered from her paralysis.

She wrongly became convinced that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) was having an affair with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and poisoned Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) with the intention of framing Adam.

That was the beginning of her downward mental spiral, and this could be the beginning of Ashley’s-but with a physical cause as well that could be an aneurysm or tumor.

Ashley may deny what’s going on inside her head, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t really happening, because she’s definitely scared.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Could Ashley Abbott Be Drugged?

Although it might seem that Ashley could possibly be a victim of Tucker’s drugging her that is the least plausible possibility-he doesn’t have enough access.

That could have happened in Paris, but it wouldn’t be able to happen back in Genoa City, even if he had help. He wouldn’t be welcome in the Abbott mansion and most of the time, either Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) Diane Abbott (Susan Walters) or Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) are there.

And even if the household liquor was spiked, there would be no way to guarantee that Ashley would get dosed and not someone else. Ashley has some very disturbing symptoms but if she doesn’t admit them they could get worse-and she could be beyond help if she lets it go very long!
