The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease Ashley and Traci Abbott (Eileen Davidson, Beth Maitland) arrive in Paris. Traci convinced Ashley to go to where she is convinced Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) became violent to look for someone who could confirm it.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Gaslighting Or Nervous Breakdown?

Traci is very concerned about Ashley, bearing in mind that either thing could have happened-that Tucker’s denying the violence because he’s gaslighting her, or she’s having another nervous breakdown.

That’s why Traci insisted on coming with her, and also to be a witness should they find someone at the café where Ashley claims Tucker became violent who could confirm it.

Tucker’s acting like it’s all in Ashley’s imagination, which could actually push her over the edge-he knows it’s happened before.

But Traci bears in mind if Tucker’s been planning this since he and Ashley got married, or even before, he could have paid personnel to lie and say nothing happened!

Unfortunately, with it being a standard outside French café there aren’t any security cameras with footage they could request.

Y & R Spoilers: Tucker McCall Might Want To Gaslight Ashley Abbott For Many Reasons

Traci can think of many reasons Tucker might want to gaslight Ashley, and so can their brother Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). He may have planned something like this all along to make her think she was having another breakdown-possibly convincing her to sign her power of attorney away to him.

She holds back from warning her if the café personnel say they didn’t see any violence that Tucker may have thought ahead and paid them off.

Tucker claims he has nothing now and yet he has enough money to stay in Genoa City and pay for a suite in the Genoa City Athletic Club-that’s not cheap!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: No One Saw The Violence, Claimed To Recognize Ashley Abbott

As Traci feared, the people at the café did claim to recognize Ashley but no one remembered any violence during the time she and Tucker ate there.

Now Traci tells Ashley that’s probably because Tucker thought ahead and paid them off-in other words, they’re in on the scam. Traci reminds her sister she and Jack will always have her back-and this isn’t something she should worry over.

There’s a way to get to the truth but it may involve fighting fire with fire-and offers of more money if necessary. Traci also thinks maybe questioning some of the regular patrons of the restaurant might get the truth out as well.
