Is General Hospital’s Willow Really Full Of Forgiveness?

General Hospital’s Willow Tait likes to think of herself as this all-forgiving person who extends grace to everyone under the idea of life being too short, but perhaps she needs to have a little self-awareness and re-evaluate that assessment of herself.

Willow Forgives A Lot

Over the last year, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) has proven that she can forgive a lot of things and a lot of people. It’s shocking that she has forgiven the mother who raised her and stole her so she could raise her.

Not only did Lorraine ‘Harmony’ Miller (Inga Cadranel) steal her from her birth family, but she also pimped Willow out to a cult leader so she could be raped.

Harmony also killed a few people so her secrets would never come to light, but Willow thinks Harmony had her reasons and she was able to forgive her both before the deranged woman died and after.

When Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) chose to keep the secret that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was Willow’s birth mother and paid a woman to lie to Drew Cain and say Willow’s mother was dead, Willow forgave her within a day.

When Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) blackmailed Nina into staying away from Willow after he learned she turned Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) into the SEC, Willow remained angry for a whole month but then told Michael she overreacted and forgave him.

Willow Can’t Forgive Nina

Of course, there is one person Nina can’t forgive because then she’d be going against Michael and Carly’s wishes and we can’t have that. Willow can’t forgive Nina, the woman she was stolen from as a newborn while Nina lingered in a coma her own mother had put her in.

Willow was on her deathbed a year ago telling Nina she wanted nothing to do with her despite the worst thing Nina ever did to her was to be mean when Willow was Charlotte Cassadine’s (Scarlett Fernandez) third-grade teacher.

It took her nearly a year to finally warm up to Nina after learning she was her mother, yet she can’t show her any forgiveness for reporting Carly and Drew’s insider trading crime to the SEC.

Before Willow touts herself as this all-forgiving person, maybe she should think about how she treats her own mother.

Tune into General Hospital weekdays on ABC to see if Willow realizes she is a hypocrite.
