General Hospital Spoilers: Jason Was The One Shooting At Sonny And Ava
General Hospital spoilers tease a big Port Charles return in March but did that character already return as a sharpshooter — who missed?
General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny’s Mysterious Shooting Incident
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) might have brought Ava Jerome (Maura West) and their daughter Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) to his private Puerto Rican island for safety, but they quickly had to leave because someone got into his compound and opened fire.
Sonny has many enemies and many people who would shoot at him, but how many people know the security system on his island inside and out? Sonny said it should have been impossible for anyone to get by his system so easily but he is not really thinking outside the box, is he?
Dead Is Never Dead, Or At Least Rarely
If a body is never found on a soap, a character is not dead. This much we know after all these decades. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has risen from the ashes before, and we know he is about to rise from the rubble of Cassadine Island.
Jason would also certainly know all about Sonny’s island security system considering he was Sonny’s top enforcer for decades and knew everything about Sonny’s business inside and out. But, what if he was brainwashed to bring Sonny down during the last two years?
He might have been sent to the island because he knew how to breach security undetected, but he also could have resisted the brainwashing for a few short moments and purposely missed while shooting. We all know Jason Morgan never misses unless he wants to.
Then again, Jason could be a completely changed man who forgot everything Sonny taught him as a marksman. Perhaps he truly wants Sonny dead, but is no longer someone who hits every target.
A brand-new Jason can emerge from this rubble and be angrier than ever before, while also confused about his life since the 1990s. Sonny would have to work with him to regain his trust, but it might never happen.
Perhaps Jason can even become a Quartermaine again. We’re sure Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) would be thrilled. Tune into General Hospital weekdays on ABC to see how Jason Morgan makes his big comeback.
