General Hospital Comings And Goings: Daytime Diva Eva LaRue Arrives In Port Charles

General Hospital (GH) for the week of February 26, 2024 show that the town of Port Charles, New York has a new arrival and she is one of daytime’s most beloved divas.

This daytime legend portrays the mother of another new PC arrival, a successful singer who is on the horns of a dilemma.

It appears that this mother and daughter are on a collision course and it will involve Kristina Corinthos (Kate Mansi) who has her own drama now that she is three months pregnant as her sister’s surrogate.

On Monday, February 26 Eva LaRue debuts as Natalia Rogers-Ramirez, Blaze’s (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) mother.

LaRue played Maria Santos on All My Children and was last seen in daytime as Celeste Rosales on The Young and the Restless.

Fans last saw Real Andrews as Marcus Taggert in July 2023. The GH fan base would love for the amazing actor to return to the show as his character has a rich history with several characters and plot-wise he would be a good resource to assist the PCPD as they hunt down a serial killer.

Andrews posted this on Insta about a possible comeback: “If God wants me back, I’ll be back. But also, with your support, you guys have a very loud voice, especially in today’s day and age… If it’s meant to be, I’ll be back. And if I’m back, I’ll bring it.”

Michael E. Knight last appeared as Martin Gray on Monday, February 12. Martin was devastated to find out that his girlfriend Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) cheated on him with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner).

According to SOD, Knight’s work stoppage is temporary but there has been no return date floated.

After his debut Knight told Soap Hub of his southern lawyer character “The first few days I was on the show, I didn’t have the accent.

As I was running the lines, I kept coming up with this Virginian accent. I said [to the producers] can I give this a shot?”

The accent worked like a charm, and it helped to distinguish the lawyer as a colorful lawyer who soon found out he was related to mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis).
