Does Lola Need To Return For The Young And The Restless’s Kyle?

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Summer Now Has Her Chance, But What About Kyle?

It was Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) who cheated on Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) and ended their marriage, but it’s Kyle Abbott who now finds himself all alone.

His ex-wife has moved on with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and is enjoying herself while Kyle tried to make a go of it with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), but that is now over. Maybe Kyle finally has to face that it was never anything more than a sexual relationship.

But now Kyle is without a wife and without a lover and not even sure what he wants to do about a job. It’s very unusual to see Kyle alone like that so it’s clear he needs a love interest ASAP. But, does it have to be someone new?

Lola Rosales Is Always Out There

Before Kyle married Summer the second time he had already been married to Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) once and Summer once. In fact, the only reason he even married Summer the first time was so she would donate part of her liver to Lola, who needed a transplant after a fall into the Abbott pool.

However, Kyle broke Lola’s heart when he oddly decided that he had been in love with Summer all along. Lola hightailed it back to Miami to heal but there is no reason why she can’t return and take over Society once more.

Lola has more ties to Genoa City than just Kyle. She was best friends with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Sharon Collins (Sharon Case) was her sister-in-law as Sharon was married to Lola’s brother Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso).

She would fit right back into the GC canvas and give Kyle someone to be with and something to do. Kyle and Lola were certainly a popular pair and her return could also add angst to Summer and Chance’s budding romance. Maybe Summer will decide she wants Kyle back after all…
