Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers note that despite Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) warning, Chanel Dupree-DiMera (Raven Bowens) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) moved forward with their wedding.

DOOL spoilers imply that Chad hinted at a “curse” on those who marry into the DiMera family, before Johnny and Chanel said, “I do”.

He had some strong examples in his wife Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) death, at the hand of Clyde Weston (James Read), and Nicole Walker-DiMera’s recent tragedies of losing her newborn son (even though fans know that’s not the case) and her daughter Holly Jonas’s (Ashley Puzemis) overdose. Both incidents for Nicole happened shortly after she married EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).

It’s undeniable that Janel will face some sort of struggle. Not only because that’s protocol for all Salem super couples after they get hitched, but also because it’ll have both Johnny and Chanel questioning if the “DiMera Wedding Curse” is a real thing.

Days Spoilers: Chanel Gets Hurt In The Crossfire

DOOL spoilers remind fans that Chanel doesn’t necessarily have to be a part of Clyde Weston’s (James Read) drug ring or even partake in illegal substances to land in danger.

Chanel might be in the “wrong place at the wrong time” when a shooting or explosion takes place, landing her in the hospital where she fights for her life.

Still, before that happens, the “DiMera Wedding Curse” could come in the form of “bad days” Chanel is having; customers canceling big orders, her favorite pair of shoes breaking, getting food poison, etc.

This will have the twosome “joking” about the curse Chad mentioned. However, as the days go by (pun intended) these “bad” occurrences will eventually heighten to even bigger issues.

When Chanel gets shot/hurt/hospitalized, Johnny may believe he’s the reason for it, and he might call for a snap divorce once his wife comes to.
